This is a canvas that portrays Bob Marley as the protagonist.  Once I had the picture of Bob Marley printed out, I drew lines acros and down so that  I could then copy exactly to the canvas. The fisrt step was to make a value scale depending on what color I wanted to paint it. The colors chosen were black and white. So I created a scale of them going from white to black. When I had already drawn Bob Marley in the canvas, I started painting. The scale was of great help because it helped me with the shadows and the bright spots. The main materials needed for this proyect were the canvas and the acrylic colors, white and black of course.

I believe that my greatest  strength was to make the value scale, because it was really made done, and useful for the project, the moment I started painting. My greatest weaknesses in the other hand, were drawing the face in the canvas, because it had very detailed and complex eyes. I also found it hard to paint the face the most because of the shadows. What I think I did the best is Bob Marley´s hair. I like the contrast and the detailed given with a mix of dark and bright colors. Overall, I am happy of the result  because it looks good, and well elaborated.

This proyect consisted of drawing whatever you wanted. This time though, not with lines, just words allowed. I decided to do Sponge Bob. I thought it was a good idea to portray him Sponge Bob, because is a cartoon I like, and have found it very funny. So anyways, I searched on the internet  pictures of Songe Bob, and particulary chose the one he is trying to  jellyfish. So I copied it with a pencil in a separate carboard.

Once Sponge Bob was sketched, I placed letters on top of the pencil lines. I chose to put Songe Bob's song, to make it more interesting, and logical. It turned out to be a great proyect, very fun to work on. All you need is a carboard with a pencil, and some color markers! Trt it! I'm honestly thrilled with my job, because it looks like it's well elaborated, and carefully written each letter. If I would have want it to be even more amazing than it already looks, I think a nice blue and bubbly backround would have been perfect. Of course it would have taken much more time to write in all that blacn space left. But it looks cool...... right?

When bored, what better to do than use your imagination, to create drawing or paintings of your choice. To me, sketches are liberating, because there is no instructions on how to do them, everything is your choice. I've done plenty sketches by now, and I'm still doing them because each one of them is different from one another. I've done from
a school bus, to New York places I love. The truth is that I mainly do sketches about places I know (New York City for example), or places I would want to know, like Paris in France for example.

In the picyure to the left, I made a fifth avenue sign. I used mainly colored pencils, and aluminum to decorate the bottom part. I try toimplement other stuff in my sketches, like in this example the fifth avenue sign which has aluminum, from a chocolate I once ate. I have also used tree leaves or even a tea bag once. So, your creativity plays a huge role here, if you want something cool, think it once; if you want something extraordinayry, think about it twice, because it takes alot of creativity to do so.
